"And at the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani? --which means, My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me deserting Me and leaving Me helpless and abandoned]?" (Amplified Bible)

If Jesus was really God as he claimed to be
and if he was always with his Father before time began as John 1 says,
and if Jesus came to earth specifically to take the punishment of our wrongdoing upon himself on the Cross, Isaiah 53
then at this moment Jesus would be feeling the greatest sense of loss in fellowship with the Father that anyone cloaked in human flesh ever could.
Jesus, who had the most intimate relationship with the Father, not only experienced the loss caused by sleep, tiredness, hunger, etc.,
he also experienced God's wrath, God's punishment of our sin.
Jesus was the only one who could do this, for he had no sin of his own.
Jesus was the one who could be most deeply wounded and hurt by doing this.
He cried out in anguish, WHY???
He knew why.
He decided to do it.
But the reality of the loss of intimacy with the Father was so great, that he cried out.
If you have ever experienced deep loss, the unavoidable blow of the pain on your heart, you can begin to understand this.
Jesus experienced this loss of God's presence so you never have to,
if you ask Jesus into your life.
Adam and Eve.....Jesus.....You
break fellowship.....restore fellowship..... I want to receive Jesus now.
