Abraham, Isaac and Jacob knew G-d as G-d Almighty, El Shaddai, Exodus 6:3. (right to left: אֵל שַׁדַּי )
Moses knew G-d as I am which is new. Redemption and great miracles are involved. It makes one think of being redeemed from a life of slavery under Pharoah of Egypt
and the 10 Plagues to prove "let my people go" was indeed the request of Yahweh.
